Solid darker colours, long sleeves and good textures turn out much better, and certainly please avoid pinstripes, large logos, or any loud floral patterns, so basically Keep It Simple, which I cannot stress enough...

NOTE: As mentioned that darker outfits are better as I prefer to make your face the brightest part of the picture which is the Focal-Point and not an outfit, and also please DO NOT wear white...

• #2-Avoid Colours Close to White
• Black Works But Best to Find Colours A Bit Lighter Like Seasonal Fall Darker Colours
• Pick Colours to Contrast Skin Tone So You Stand Out More Than Your Outfit
• DON'T Wear Busy Patterns as they are Far Too Distracting
• Always Bring a Few Extra Shirts, Jackets Etc...
• Crew Neck or V-Neck Shirts?
• VERY IMPORTANT, Wrinkles Can Ruin a Photo, So Please Pay Close Attention When Preparing Your Outfits...!

Layer Your Tops (RECOMMENDED) ~

Having a jacket or button-down shirt (unbuttoned) over another shirt can add an interesting visual quality to your Headshots.

This can enhance your look and often feels more complete than just a plain T-shirts.

PRO TIP: This works best with a solid coloured shirt or jacket (Darker) over another contrasting colour (Lighter) shirt underneath, and just remember to keep your colours on the darker side, but not necessarily Black, as Black on Black doesn't show that well.

Never have your outfits with busy nor dramatic patterns as it takes away from YOU...

AVOID plaids/flannels, stripes, patterns and Logos as they are too busy and distracting to layer on top of another shirt.
